Series:

  • Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling:In this magical tale a young boy who is abused by his aunt and uncle who have been "caring"for him since his parents unfortunate death. Everything changes on his 11th birthday when he discovers he is a wizard. This 7 book series follows Harrys adventures, and him facing a wizard,evil beyond imagination. This series is absolutely essential and perfect for all ages.

  • Percy Jackson - Rick Riordan: A demigod hero is faced with many challenges as he takes on mythological beasts and ancient quests with the help of his other demigod friends.

  • Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins: A dystopian series featuring Katniss Everdeen, a teenage girl who volunteers in a fight to the death to save her sister's life... 

  • Throne of Glass - Sarah J. Mass:A famous assasins life changes when she is pulled out of a notorious slave camp, but she must compete in many trials to the death to become The Kings Champion. Along with the competition, an ancient being commands her to figure out why champions have mysteriously disappeared.Throughout these seemingly impossible tasks she also is trapped in a love triangle. This series is a must read! 

  • The Chronicles of Narnia - C. S. Louis: When four siblings find a magical world beyond the cold, closed doors of a wardrobe, their lives will never be the same. Over seven books, tag along to witness events that will make you wonder "what if..." about every closet in your house (trust me, we've all been there).

  • The Sunshine Sisters - Jane Green: After a life of sisterly feuds and maternal neglect, three women come together to rediscover their desires, worths, and lifelong bond in this realistic fistion read made for a day of books on the beach

  • Hatchet - Gary Paulsen: A classic short novel from the good old days of middle school in which a young and knowledgeable teen finds himself struggling to survive in a forest of angry moose and the corpse of his once pilot

  • Zero Waste Home - Bea Johnson: A must have guide for anyone hoping to simplify their life, health, time, and ecological footprint

  • Refugee - Alan Gratz: Stories of hope and strength tie keep any reader guessing in this historical/realistic fiction novel with an ending to be remembered.

  • Stone Fox - John Reynolds Gardiner: Although its ending will break even the toughest of hearts, this super short book is a great read if anyone is looking for a wintry story that hits you right in the feels.

  • The Lost Vintage - Ann Mah: This realistic fiction romance and mystery novel is a perfect mix of french history, family conflict, foreign lovers, and hope for the future. 

  • Not If I Save You First - Ally Carter: With adventure, romance, survival, and plot twists around every corner, this book will never fail to keep you wanting more. Looking for teenage romance? Yup, this book has it! Classic struggle of good vs. evil? Present! Once you crack the cover of this novel, you won't be able to put it down... trust us!
