Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire
The Guide to Being Glorious You

Jen Hatmaker, author of "Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire" is nothing if not the epitome of this book's title. In her guide created for women of all kinds, Hatmaker teaches her readers to rediscover their core values and reshape their lives to help the best versions of themselves thrive. Twelve pivotal statements housed in five categories explain the importance of things as simple

as honesty, dreams, spiritual curiosity- and the truth that when these things are overlooked, women simply cannot live their lives to the fullest. The only reason this book was not given five stars is because various aspects of it can seem dull at times. However, Hatmaker did this almost intentionally, as she explains, "I suspect... that some of these chapters hit you squarely between the eyes and others didn't apply at all." (1) The carefully detailed novel that is intermixed with humor, faith, and badassness is meant to cover every aspect of every woman's life, so there will naturally be a few dry spots where a reader doesn't need guidance from the wise and wonderful author that feels more like a long-lost sister by the time the back cover is closed. Overall, this novel is an encouraging read by a woman who truly cares for her audience, and one I will recommend to my own friends and family, as well as anyone who is reading this.
Recommended for: all women of all ages
